An ideal specific gravity of 1.35 for natural water presentation!
Low stretch provides high sensitivity, making even subtle bites easy to detect.
Its moderate stiffness improves straight-line performance, reducing twist and tangling between leaders.
Excellent abrasion resistance, and any line memory can be reduced by lightly stretching before use.
The non-absorbent structure also helps slow down material degradation.
Due to low stretch, knot strength is slightly lower than nylon or fluorocarbon.
* The line has a firm feel and is not recommended for anglers seeking a soft, supple texture.

Polyester fishing line (aka Ester) provides exceptionally good sensitivity after PE line. Its high specific gravity controls a delicate game. Polyester is very tenacious, hard, and has a low elongation compared to nylon and fluorocarbon line. Due to its characteristics, polyester line is often used in a hi-lo rig set up with multiple hooks and leaders. Because of its high sensitivity and specific gravity, thin diameter polyester line has become popularly used for Aging and Area Trout Fishing competitions.
