Avani Casting PE Si-X X8
This Tuna casting PE line was developed in collaboration with Sato Ichiro, the leading authority on Tuna casting games.
The special heat-resistant material (Si-X) provides durability which was previously unimaginable.
To prevent line breakage, special heat-resistant materials are kneaded into the PE to protect the fibers from frictional heat.
The tension of the line reduces the loop width of the line released from the spool and prevents line-related problems from occurring.
Each size has a different color marking, so it is easy to identify the tackle that fits the situation at a glance.

VARIVAS created Si-X PE out of the need to solve PE line’s well known weakness to hear caused by friction from the lengthy fight with big game target, such as Tuna. Strength and super durability is achieved by kneading and weaving VARIVAS’s proprietary heat resistant Si-X material into VARIVAS Max Power PE (MAX-PE) raw yarn.
